Hi Sandy,
I'm not familiar with the Sonoran towns you mentioned. Are you sure it's not supposed to be El Alamito and not Llamito? I don't recall where but I once saw a map of Mexico dealing with Cristero uprisings and the only place in Sonora shown was La Reforma where an uncle of mine happened to be from.
Are you familiar with a book called La Cristiada by Jean Meyer? I haven't read it mainly because it's in French which I don't read or speak, but I have it laying around somewhere. However I recently started read another book called The Holy War in Los Altos. Don't remember the name of the author but it's published by University of Arizona Press. It's about the Los Altos region of Jalisco where the Cristero resistance was the most intense.
Thanks for your input. I'd like to have a copy of your materials if possible.
