Julio, if I may suggest, do you have access to a Family History center to view the microfilms available ?

If your relative was born in 1899 the I would suggest to look real good in the in the LDS microfilms 0650473 (Villa de Santiago baptism) or 0670734 (Monterrey civil births records) and also in 0605173 (Monterrey baptisms). If you happen to find your relative there then it should reveal his parents.

Do you have his deceased date and place ? You might try the SSDI (Soc. Security Death Index) in Rootsweb.com also.

Also, did he borthers and sisters which can lead to these findings ?
