Hola Danny!

How good to hear from you. I'll try to help as much as I can. What I am about to give you is from memory. Just yesterday I started having computer problems (again!) and so I can not access my database. I am also packing for a future move and so I am not sure I can access my back up records. From my memory I can tell you this. My connection to the Casares line IS as you stated on my maternal line. My mother's grandparents were Amado Hernandez Mireles and his wife Ysabel Mireles Casares. This couple was related in the first degree (1st cousins) though the Mireles side. Ysabel's parents were Jose de la Concepcion (sometimes listed as Encarnacion) Mireles and Adelaida Casares. Jose and Adelaida were married in Linares in 1870. Adelaida's parents were Jose Apolonio Casares and Maria Ysabel Quintero. I believe I am correct when I say this last couple was married in Linares also about 20-25 years earlier....so say between 1845-1850. I don't remember finding any of Adelaida's siblings, but I can not recall for sure. Based on what I have told you, it would be safe to say that Apolonio Casares was born sometime around the 1820's. It is possible that my Apolonio is related to your Ysidro. In fact Isidro does ring a bell but I don't remember if it is associated with the Casares line, or if it was in the Hernandez line.

I have not worked on this (or any line) line in quite some time. Once my computer is back up or I find my Casares file I will review it to see if I missed anything. I believe that I had hit a brick wall with Jose Apolonio Casares. Very likely there is a connection here. It's just a matter of finding it.

BTW, did you all ever hear from the researcher that was working on the Cano line? I got busy with a new job and then moving and lost contact with you. Hope all is well with you and your family. If you are still at the tisd email address I will email you a new email addy.

your prima.........Mercedes
