Hello Mercedes,
I'm starting a new research line on the CASARES family from Linares, NL. I believe that you also had CASARES in your maternal line? This is what I have so far from the Baptism Index for Catedral de San Felipe for 1808-1852 that follows my line:
Ponciano Casares Vasquez, born 1829
Jose Nicolas Casares Vasquez, born 1831
Jose Felipe de Jesus Casares Vasquez, born 1834
Jose Esteban Casares Vasquez, born 1835
Jose Ysidro Casares Vasquez, born 1838

I've ordered the baptism films and the marriage film to find their parents. Do you have any information on these CASARES names from your Linares research? I'm a descendant of Ysidro Casares who moved to Hidalgo County in the late 1800's.
