Hi Ricky, thanks so much for the reply. I do think that there is probably a connection with the two families. I work on genealogy quite a bit, no expert at it!, just a hobby of mine. I am tracking this family for a very dear friend of mine that needed help finding the family roots. It is said that the family originated in Spain. I do have access to the birth certificates also but thanks so much for offering them. The one that you have of Maria Moreno is one of the persons lineage I am looking for. Her amended name turned out to be Violet Nellie Moreno. Her parents were Alonzo S. Moreno and Manuela Tisnado. I think....Alonzo's parents were Alonzo Sr. and Casimira Salazar - Manuela's parents I think....Abel Tisnado and Joaquina ?. Do any of these names match up with your grandfather? I would really appreciate any help or any more information you could help me with. Maria (Violet Moreno) married into the Cordova family in Arizona. It would really make this family happy to learn of more relatives. Thanks again Brenda Trowesr@cox.net
