Hi, Thanks for the correction. I am interested in Ramon Limon who came to the US around 1910 he arrived in Nogales (sp) Arizona at age 27. He met and married my ggrandmother Eva Ridenbaugh and they were living in St. Joseph Missouri US in 1920, they are listed in the 1920 Federal Census. In the late 1920's they moved to St. Paul Minnesota and Ramon Limon is listed as living alone in Dakota, Invergrove Heights Township Minnesota where he may have died in 1976.
In looking at the index record for those Mexicans who crossed the border by the name of Ramon Limon I found two, and therefore I am not to sure which one is my Ramon Limon.
One Ramon Limon is born 1891 Guaymas,Sonora, Mexico army Officerwith $10 with him-was never in US can read/write, accompanied by friends Jose Marie Parades and Froctuoso Mendez. Arrived in El Paso, Texas dated 4/11/1915. The other Ramon Limon born 1890 single, farm laborer has $14 with him also from Guaymas, Mexico destination Yuma Arizona to work for Yuma Project Cottton Growers Association. Arrived 1917 in Nogales, Arizona. This is all that I have been able to find out. I have no idea how or where my ggrandmother met Ramon Limon or why they separated, nor do I know anything about Ramon Limon. Thank you for trying to help.
