I am looking for Josefa Duarte (or Acevedo) born about 1844 in Dec? in Mexico or lower California. I believe her parents were either Jose Ignacio (Ygnacio) Duarte (De Duarte)born 1790 in Santiago, Baja, California or Mexico and mother Josefa Castro born 1795.
Or her parents are Jose Manuel Duarte born about 1821 in Sonoma, Baja, Lower California, Sur, Mexico (I know, the place is jumbled, but I am not sure which is correct) and
Jacoba Ascevedo or Acebado (or... or... or... the name is spelled so many ways, I am not sure of the correct spelling) born about 1826 in Lower California. Thank you for any help you can give me.
