Dear Dan:

My grandfather and grandmother came from Silao, Gto. in 1911. In fact, I have second cousins who still live there. The last time I saw them was three years ago. I have been to Silao many times and try to go when I get the chance. Here in the U.S. my husband and I run a store that caters to the Mexican immigrant community. One of the things we do is wire transfers. Sometimes we have customers who send to Silao.
