My husband's surnames are Pascual Nevarez and his mother was born in Santiago Papasquaio, Durango, Mexico. Her surnames are Nevarez Escobedo Gutierrez. She was orphaned when she was very young and was brought up by an aunt in Mexico City. She remembers that her father and mother were musicians, possibly violin players.
