de Beytia family from Durango and New Mexico

Hello friends,
I am researching the Abeyta family from Durango and New Mexico. My ggrandfather was Patricio Abeyta (born in Tucumcari, NM in 1897) and his ggrandfather was Juan Antonio Abeyta born in New Mexico (Rio Arriba County) around 1750. I believe this family originated in Durango in Mexico (and in the Basque county in Spain prior to Durango). Diego de Beytia was recruited in Durango to participate in the Don Diego de Vargas re-colonization of New Mexico in 1693. Diego's parents were Diego de Ribera (born 1654 in Durango) and Ana Juana de Beytia (born 1658 in Durango). Anyone out there have a connection to this family? Or, has anyone done genealogy on the de Beytia family from Durango? I believe Ana Juana's parents were Martin de Veitia who married Mariana de Montealegre Egurrola in 1652 in Durango, at the San Juan Bautista de Analco Church.
Thanks,
Greg
