I've been trying to unearth data on my maternal ancestors in Santa Rosalia de Camargo, and the even smaller nearbye pueblo of Valle de Zaragoza, but have reached a dead end. There's only a few hundred people living today in Valle de Zaragoza, so I suspect it should be a fairly easy area to research. Could you check in the book you mentioned you bought for chapters on my familia? Here they are: Maria Juana Acosta. Valle de Zaragoza, Chihuahua born around 1842. Alive in 1894. Husband: Guadalupe or Pedro Vasquez dead by 19 September 1892. Their daughter: Maria del Pilar Vasquez Acosta. Born 1861/2 Santa Rosalia, Camargo, Chihuahua, died 26 December 1925 in Hidalgo del Parral. Also reported born in Valley of Zaragoza, Chihuahua. Thank you:) This is your written invitation to join the Alderete Surname Project. Prices for genetic testing came down across the board just last month. For those of us who are of mixed blood, like me the tests will tell us just what our ethnic mix is. My first results were based on my father's Y- DNA. http://www.genealogy.com/users/a/l/d/Ernie-Alderete/ http://www.familytreedna.com/(hcojjivgekjvu155hef2gy55)/public/alderete Notify Administrator about this message?
