Researching Mexico is MUY difficult
My ancestors worked the silver mines in Parral from the 1880's until the 1930's.Some were born there, died there, and married there. In an attempt to research these ancestors someone suggested I rent films from the Mormon Family Center, which I did. What a waste of resources, in both time and money.Unless I rented the wrong films, I saw only what appeared to be a census of sorts. Also, I know only a few words of Spanish.
I would appreciate any constructive input as to how I might obtain marriage, birth, and death information on those in the foreign community.Certainly these events would not have gone unrecorded. At least I wouldn't thinnk so.
Regards,
Tom
