I am trying to locate information about the Ballin family of Aguascalientes and Nochistlan. Diego Ballin married Francesca Ruiz de Esparza on 2-24-1667 in Aguascalientes. I am not certain of the parentage of either, but I'm pretty sure Francesca will be a granddaughter of Lope Ruiz de Esparza.
Diego's son Nicolas Ballin was married in 1691 to Maria Rosa Urquiza. But there is another Nicolas Ballin who married Petrona Enriquez in Nochistlan (7-28-1692) and he was from Aguascalientes and was the son of Nicolas Vasquez Ballin and Victoria de Sotmayor. I'm trying to figure out their relationship to Diego.
Nicholas had children, including Juan Ballin, born 9-23-1693, who later married Elvira Dlegadillo.
Petrona Enriquez was the daughter of Pedro Enrique and Isabel Calderon (married in Nochistlan on 7-3-1667).
I am trying to confirm these links and find out about the origins of the Ballin family.
