John: Juan Garcia de Leon and Juana de Ulloa married sometime around 1668 and had at least seven children: María, Thoribio, Isabel, Marcela, Juan, Christobal, Joseph and Bartholome, all born in Aguascalientes between 1669-1686. I have baptismal data for six of them, and marriage and death data for some of them. Although I have not found Juan Garcia de Leon's baptismal data, I believe he was born in Aguascalientes to Bartholome Garcia de Leon, who married three times in Aguascalientes: First, he married Antonia de Caceres. The wedding was 24 Feb 1636 at "la Asuncion de Aguascalientes". I have information on one child from this marriage, Bartholome. Bartholome Garcia de Leon Caceres was baptized 29 Aug 1646. His mother died shortly thereafter and his father remarried two years later in 1648. I don't think Juan García de Leon was a child of Antonia Caceres and Bartholome Garcia de Leon. Bartholome married Antonia Garcia de Nava 10 Aug 1648 in Aguascalientes. Antonia was originally from San Juan de los Lagos. Bartholome and Antonia had at least seven children: Francisco, Mathiana, María, Jacinto, Bernabe, Antonio and Josepha, all born between 1649-1660. Antonia García de Nava died 13 May 1665 in Aguascalientes. Bartholome and Antonia are the most probable parents of Juan Garcia de Leon because of the connection to San Juan de los Lagos, although Juan would have to have been born early in the marriage. Bartholome, who by then was probably in his 50s, remarried one more time on 14 Nov 1666, this time to Thomasa Ruiz de Esparza. Bartholome and Thomasa had only one child, Domingo García Ruiz-de-Esparza, baptized 11 Jan 1667 in Aguascalientes. Bartholome Garcia de Leon died four years later on 25 Jul 1671.
