Thomas Marian Mewbourn was a brother to my
grandfather, James Reece Mewbourn. James Reece was born in Alabama May 25, 1881 and
died June 6, 1971. James came to Texas around the age of 20 and worked for my grandmother's
uncle for a while before marrying her. She
was Ollie Mae Burnett. They had 9 children.
All children except for one are deceased. We
grandchildren have decided to do some research on the Mewbourn family. Any information you may have and like to share with us would be greatly appreciated.
