Your Anna Catharine Meves (nee Graves) appears to be a different individual than my Anna Catherine whose maiden name was Meves. She married Peter Thomas Albrecht in Schleswig. After Peter died, Anna and her daughters migrated to Davenport, Iowa.
Anna and her daughters obviously had relatives in Davenport or they would not have left Germany to settle there. There were Meves in Davenport but I have not been able to make a connection to them. One person of interest is Johann Meves who was of an age to have been Anna's brother. There were also a number of Albrechts in Davenport who may have been related to Anna's husband.
Who were the parents of the William Meves mentioned in your message?
