He includes this entry:
"Peter Meurer b 1825 Nassau Prussia d 1881 Lanesville IN"

Hope this helps! Meurer (or "Mason") is a much more common name across the water. My dad came over in the 1950s, so it's unlikely we're related to that particular Christian Meurer, unless we have a common ancestor (we're mapped back to the early sixteenth century at this point).
