In Aug 2001, information was posted regarding "Thomas Methvin and Durham Connect"
that WILLIAM TRUELOCK METHVIN, son of James A. Porter Methvin had married in 1831 MARY "MOLLIE" CASTELLAW. Mary E. was age 28-1880 in the household of her father John B. Castellow, still unmarried. There is a death date of 1889 for her, so she would have had to marry William Methvin after 1880 and before 1889.
William Truelock Methvin , according to Ancestry.com married MARY JANE SEARS 4 Nov 1852 and had children: Thomas b. 1847; Eugene b . 1859; Ella b . 1861; Willie b. 1863; Estelle b. 1866 and James b. 1867.
