Charles,
There was another son of Nathan who was born in the Chesapeake Bay area by the name of Richard Randall Methvin and he was the oldest son. He came to Ga. with his parents and later married Martha Perdue 19 May 1814 in Baldwin County Ga. and later moved to Greeg County Texas at that time it was part of Upshur county Texas.
