Burt, You have every thing right on Mary Metheny Miller
except her son was John P. Miller. Information is from
census and the Family Bible. Also, see Early Preston
Co., WV families, where John P. is listed as a Sunday
School Teacher at Beech Run Methodist Church. Also, see
proof in Samuel Wylie's book on Preston Co. WV, where John
P. is listed as a Justice of the Peace. In the same book
his family is listed. I would be interested in what you
have on the Parentage of Ensign James and Mary LaMayne.
