Melinda. I don't know if it will help but I have a Anthony METCALFE in my ancestors born in Marsett, christened at Stallingbusk march 5, 1797. He is mentioned in Harry Speight's "Chronology & Stories of Old Bingley" as being a a well respected headmaster of the Bingley Grammar school. He died in 1855 and was buried in the Bingley parish churchyard. He had a daughter Alice. Anthony's parents were Anthony Metcalfe and Mary?? (Still researching). A coincidence??? Alice married into the Broadbent family (Benjamin)) at Bingley in 1857. I am following a trail of "mainline" ancestors on my father's side. Hope this will help you
