Hi Larry,
Reading your response to Mestas family in Pueblo, made think that perhaps we might share information. I am from Colorado, have a gggrandfather that apparently married a Mestas in the Rio Arriba area of NM and turned up in Huerfano, Co. His daughter, my ggrandmother, was born in Socorro in 1871/73 and married a Tafoya in 1888, lived in the Colfax/Mora area until 1921/22 and moved to Colorado.If you are interested, post a reply or contact me directly by e-mail.
