I am searching for parents of my Grandfather David Mestas born in New Mexico in 1845. My Grandfather was shown living in Los Sauses, CO where my father Procopio Maestas(Mestas) was born in 1886. My Grandfather was born in New Mexico, His name is David Mestas, born in 1845 according to the Colorado 1900 Census. He was married to Agapita Romero, who was also born in New Mexico in 1852, again according to the Colorado 1900 Census. They had been married 33 years, of 10 children 6 were living at the time, I have some information about my Uncles Jose Cruz, Filoganio, and Amadeo. There were two living sisters at the time Dilila and Salisita.
