hi,
my grandparents, francesco and annunziata-nee
macari left messina after the 1908 messina-reggio earthquake that virtually destroyed messina and calabria.
they lived in the north bronx and had 5 children-emile, robert, josephine, sylvia, and my father joseph, all of which are dead.
it's a hard puzzle to solve, but maybe some day.
