MA King, Agnes, Boarder, 50, single, b. MA, Fb. Ireland & Mb. Ireland, Warper, Cotten Mill Source: 1910 census for Ware, Hampshire County, MA. 2 May 1910 Note: John Messier is listed in the census index, aged 9 years, however, James Messier is NOT listed in the census index, but is obviously listed with his brother and Aunt and Uncle. This taken from Heritage Quest. The Mass. Vital Records Index shows that James Messier was born in Ware, MA., but isn't listed in the census records for Ware for 1900. It's possible that his family is amongst the part the isn't possible to read. If this is your James, email me back because I plan to do research in MA next week and I will check to see who his parents are and possibly siblings beside John. Most likely James and John are blood related to George Lapierre. I didn't find George in the 1900 census either, but it's possible that George is Euclide Lapierre, who is listed as being 26 years old, mar. and listed as a Cotton Weaver. Perhaps his marriage records could tell more. If it is him, he is listed with parents and siblings. This needs further checking. Do you have more on James to add to what you've already told me? Can you take the lines back from you to James' generation with names and other dates? Charlene PS Always interested in "Messier" genealogy, as you never know when you might find a connection between families. Notify Administrator about this message?
