The connection that I have between Paul Messier and Jean Baptiste Messier as being his father came from a source from up in Canada and I have no documents to prove it as of yet. Paul Messier is an Americanized name so you may want to take note of that. If you could come up with some documented proof of this connection I would love to get a copy. With the information you have here on Zephirin it looks to me that he maybe Paul’s cousin. Zephirin is not a name that I am familiar with yet. Here is Paul’s tree as I see it for now.
