Years ago I started working on this line, and Brenda helped me alot. Unfortunately I lost most of that info and my grown children are getting interested.
My work is now on Issac Messer 1848 Jonathans Creek, Haywood Co., NC. I want to make sure I have followed this man correctly. His father was Daniel Messer 1822 and mother Elizabeth 1826. His siblings weer George, Elijah, James, Berry C., Marinda, Martha, and Joseph W.
Isaac (Avery? or Hugh?) Messer married twice- Harriet Jane Connard and second to Martha.
I believe I have followed him from Jonathan Creek NC to 1910 Sevier Co., Tn, then 1920 Union Co., SC, and finally 1930 to Sullivan County, Kingsport Tennessee.
We are connected through his son Milas, and if the above info is correct I wonder about the interview in a newspaper that Milas gave a reporter.
Does anyone know anything about this?
