Samuel Messer is also my ggrandfather and Nora Bingham my ggrandmother. I have had some luck researching Nora, dating back to 3 - 4 generations. With Samuel it is a different story.. They were from Kentucky, I have seen Nora's tombstone in a REMOTE cemetery in a holler in Knox County. Knox and Bell counties in KY are FULL of Messers.
