I am researching my husbands family. I have Mary Messer married to Silas Sitton. On one website I found Mary as being John Messer's daughter and Capt. Robert Merser/Messer's granddaughter.
And then on another website I found sons of Robert were Tipton, Christian, Solomon, Joseph, and Jarred but no John.
Can anyone please sort this out for me and is there any other info on Mary Messer and Silas Sitton.
Silas and Mary ended up in Chattooga GA where they died according to researchers I have found on the internet.
