Hello Casey,

Apparently, possibly distant cousin. I believe that my Grandmother, Leslie (Messenger) Calvitt was the sister of Your Grandmother Bertrice and "Uncle" George "Cato" (Casey in mine) Messenger. If I have my people sorted out correctly. I do have them in my family tree as well but I do not have any info on their children, just that they were all the Children of George Cato and Emma O. (Wilson) Messenger along with 6 other brothers and sisters. I do have that Betrice married a Higgingbottom and George Casey Messenger lived 1912 - 1983 but beyond that well little else. I would be more than happy to e-mail your father. Thank you so much, I will take any bones, straws, etc.. that I can find. I dead end and hit the brick wall at "I believe" their grandfather Nicholas Messenger and his wife Lavinia. Thank you again.

Chris Calvitt (
