Elijah Messenger married Thankful Gozzard 25 Feb. 1758 in Westfield, Hampden Co. MA (he was of Westfield and she of Simsbury, re. Westfield VRs. A Goddard genealogy shows that she was born in 1726). Westfield is two towns north of Granby.

I feel lead that the Warren Messenger and Rufus Messenger were brothers and Elijah Messenger or Jehiel Messenger were the father.
Jehiel Messenger daughter married the Noble lines and so did the Rufus Messenger son Warren Messenger.
The Thomas Noble book listed Jane Noble married Warren Messenger of Brighton, New York then moved to Michigan. this is one of Rufus and Rosanna's son's.
