Correction! Winnie's father is William Messenger but I can not be sure who her mother was. On the 1900 Census William and Mary Ellen are married and 4 kids are living in the household; Minnie m (15) Winnie (12) Pearl (8) and Emma (3) It also states that Mary Ellen had 2 kids at this time but only one was living which you would assume that is Emma. This would make one think that William was married previously and Minnie, Winnie and Pearl are from his first marriage.
