I'm seeking information about Allen Jason Messenger (or Messinger), a blacksmith born in May 1861 in Illinois and later lived in Mercer County, Missouri. He was the son of Allen J. Messenger and Amanda Weldon. On December 1, 1895, he married my great-grandmother, Savilla Matilda Dehaven/Lawton. They in turn had three children: Loyd Henry Messenger, Iva Lowell Messenger, and Cecil Coy Messenger. Apparently Allen and Savilla separated shortly after the turn of the century. Any information about Allen would be appreciated. I would gladly share my data about his three children and their half-brothers and half-sisters.
