Ron,
On a closer look at the 1880 Perry County,
Ohio census I found Sarah "Sallie" Mesnard
Sanderson had given her Fathers place of
birth as New York, her Mothers, Ohio.
Her husband Henry J. Sanderson was my
GrUncle, my Grandfather James Milton Sinifts
older half brother. Henry J. Sanderson B
about 1854 was the son of Jacob and
Elizabeth Heck Sanderson. Jacob died
abt. 1855.in 1870 Henry J. Sanderson 16,can be
found living with his Grandmother Margaret
Heck in Perry County, oHio. Perry County
is right next to Fairfield County where
Henry married Sarah "Sallie A. Mesnard in 1876.
I am no relation to the Mesnards that I am
aware of and am related to Henry Sanderson
on his Mothers side Elizabeth Heck Sanderson
who married my Grgrandfather Jacob Sinift
after her husband Jacob Sanderson died.
I am related to Henry and Sallie Mesnard
Sanderson, the family moved to Darke Co.,
Ohio. A clue to Sallie Mesnard B abt 1854,
might be she named her first child Alonzo
Alfred Sanderson and I have not seen the
name Alonza within the Sanderson family
before.
I would like to know what happened to the
family of Henry and Sallie Sanderson during
the 1900s.
Sandy
