Wow! I came across this site by accident. I really don't know what to say but I think I may be related to you in some way. I am the third Arthur Merryman in my immediate family. Both my father and grandfather are deceased so I have since dropped the suffix from my name and just go by Arthur Merryman. I am only 38 years old though. I grew up in Baltimore but now reside in Florida. Years ago a lady contacted me via telephone wanting to know if I was related to the Merrymans in the Cockeysville, MD or Loch Raven, MD area. I really couldn't say whether or not I was. However, she had researched the whole Merryman family tree from public records available at the main public library in Baltimore City. She also told me in her research that she found a graveyard with Merryman Family remains that is not on any printed map. I have searched for this area but found nothing. She also told me that The Merryman's were a prominent family making most of their assets from slave trade and real estate. Well needless to say I never found out if I was related to any other Merryman but I sure would like to.
