Elizabeth Merryman, born ca 1710/11, daughter of Charles Merryman Jr and Jane (Long) Peake, married 1730 Baltimore Co Md, to Joseph Cross Sr, son of John Cross Sr. They would move for a short time into Va, and then return to Baltimore Co Md, and finally move up to York Co Penn. Elizabeths siblings were: William, John Charles, Ann, Jemima, Kedemoth, and Mary. Elizabeth (Merryman) Cross would disappear from records, evidently dying in York Co Penn sometime after 1769; as with her husband. Elizabeth (Merryman) Cross children were Mary 1732, John 1733, Charles 1735/6, William 1738, Benjamin 1740, Elizabeth 1743, James 1745, and Joseph Jr 1747.
