I am looking for the mother of Merryman McGehee b abt 1780 .He was in VA or Nc before coming to Roane Co Tn and Warren Co TN and then in Monroe Co Tn by 1830. He then moved to Lawrence Co Al 1834 and then 1842 to MO where he died in 1845. He has a brother James McGehee . His father is thought to be John McGehee of VA or NC who married a Merryman .The name may be McGhee or McGee .Any help much appreciated. Pat
