Michael,

A quick search of colonial labor contracts on Virtual Jamestown (http://www.virtualjamestown.org) yielded the following results for William Merreman

William Merreman was bound for Virginia from a place unknown through his agent Joseph Hunt. William entered an indentured servant contract on July 10, 1663 for a term of four years.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Kenyatta D. Berry
