Hi, Bob,

I'm writing specifically regarding the John HATTON, immigrant, which HATTON'S POINT was named after. John HATTON is my maternal 8th great grandfather and I'm still looking for more information about him and his wife, Dorothy, whose maiden name I do not have as well as the Olivia HATTON whom was believed to have been his sister.

It would appear that there may, indeed, have been closer connections with the MERRIE/MERRY family and this HATTON family.

Is it possible that you might have any other information regarding any of this at this time.
