Joice Clopton Merry, married David Richeson Lacy of Charlottesville on 27 April 1826. She was listed in The Richmond Enquirer as being the eldest daughter of Capt. John Merry of New Kent County, VA. I have been unable to find info on her following this marriage. Nor can I find info on a John Merry in New Kent County. I hope someone has info on them.
