OK, Patti. I guess that means we shouldn't ask you to be the first president of The Merritt Family Association. Oh well.
I think I'll poke around Wethersfield and the Connecticut state library in Hartford since I live here to solve the two-Thomas enigma.
I've got all souls at Nathan's Glendale (Ridge Road) graveyard plotted(npi)on OneGreatFamily although I haven't always mentioned they're buried there. We've also corrected the Greenwich records which gave ownership of the graveyard to a synagogue. It now belongs to Nathan's heirs again. I want to get everything at the King St.and Merritt (now Lyons) Point cemeteries. At Glendale everyone is a relative and I assume the same will be true at the other two. Of course all families going back 0ver 300 years in the Rye/Greenwich area are probably related one way or another.
You really should join our mini-reunion June 30.
