I also have been moving things around on computer and do not have all the story at hand but Daniel's father was Allen Merryman and his mother Elizabeth Tilman. Allen was about 9 years older than Elizabeth. They were married in Fluvanna (might not be spelled right) County Virgina. I do not know exactly when Elizabeth died, but after her death Daniel moved to Bartholomew County, Indiana. Rebecca died there and Daniel remarried someone much younger (Mary Brown). Daniel after declining and losing his eyesight died before 1870 I belive. Right before Daniel and Rebecca left Kentucky or just after ariving in Indiana they had another child, daughter, Jemima. I do not know what happened to her or Thomas. Allen, Benjamin and Richard all died in the Civil War. Harvey, my ancestor, died years later as a result of problems from the civil war.
