Juda (Judah) SMITH b Dec 29 1838 OH m William Franklin MERRIFIELD b Jan 1833 in New London OH. They lived in Hicksville, Defiance County OH and both died there--Juda in 1908 and William Franklin in 1911.

-Orson T b 1863
-Elina Tressa b 1865
-Minnie Eudora b 1867
-Burton E b abt 1870
-Martin Franklin b 1872
-Libbie Dianne b 1874
I have information on the SMITH side of this family, including a possible DNA match that takes the family back to very early(1680s) settlers in NJ. Juda SMITH's parents were Elon SMITH and Corintha Gillette/Gillet who lived in Ashtabula County OH for many years.
