Thank you for the response. My biological mother gave me some paperwork with family members listed and that is where I got Richard John Isaac's middle name. I'm only assuming that it's accurate. It's an interesting bit of information that Mary Della Richard may have had a mother and step-mother, which could explain the difficutly in finding any info on Mary Gaudet. My mother told me that she had heard that our family was descended from a "Perry" but didn' know anything about who that person might be. I know there was a family of Perrys in the Revolutionary War, but haven't found a connection to my family as of yet. It was helpful to get the birthplaces of Nellie Isaac and John Kelsey Lawton as I didn't have those and apparently had some dates wrong. As far as emailing, I don't know how to do that either without making our email addresses public, which I want to avoid. If you don't mind me asking, what is your relationship to Luther Merrifield's family tree? Mine is that he is my maternal great, great grandfather.
