Mary thanks for the info. Milton and his wife Margaret Ann Singleton came to Texas from Ky with his father and maybe other about 1849. Do you ever correspond with Fred Armstrong? He has done a tremendous amount of work on the Merrifields. He recently sent me a file with Milton's family on it. I need to change a few things but will send it to you. He has Milton's birth as Sep 5, 1817, in Nelson Co. Ky. I know most of what he has is probably correct because I knew many of the older descendents as a child and they are all buried in the same cemetery. Please send your email address to me.
