Keep in mind--this data from others--have proven some but not all of data Sarah was d/o James & Hannah Haines Merrifield- data on them found multiple places on the web & for the most part data is true but you should always prove the data your- self. So much is available on the net now that it is fairly easy to do so. Sarah E. Merrifield b ca 1806 Xenia, Caesars Creek, Green Co Ohio, d LeRoy, McLean, Il- Oak Grove Cem (don't know if she is there or not). Seems to me like I found them in IA??? (need more research before saying it is true). m 26 Aug 1834 McLean Co, Il (true) Ch: 1. William H. Huddleston b ca 1835; d 2 Feb 1882 LeRoy 2. Otha b 7 Apr 1851, d Dec 24, 1851 LeRoy @7m17ds 3. John Lewis b 1836-37 4. Nancy H. b 1840-1841 5. Oliver b 1840-1841 6. Sylvania b ca 1842- d Apr 13, 1844 LeRoy- 2y5mo 7. Alford 1845-46 8. Milton b 1848-49 Deaths of Otha & Sylvania recorded & are buried at Oak Grove Cem, just east of LeRoy, along Rt 150. IF Greenberry and Sarah is buried at LeRoy--it would be in Oak Grove Cem--the new part. Hannah Haines Merrifield is buried in the old part of Oak Grove- along with other Merrifields. James is probably there also but does not have a stone. Should be noted that Huddleston can also be Huddlestone. There was a family of Huddlestons at LeRoy when I was a young person. Knew the wife Effie Huddleston & her dau Maybelle who married "Spook" Reese (son David was killed in same auto accident as my cousin Todd Henson- my Mom & Todd's Dad were 1st cousins- Merrifield is on my Dad's side).
