Do you have any information on Jacob's wife Margaret Waters? I believe she was the daughter of a Robert Waters, who died in Prince William co. about 1810. Robert's daughter Nancy (a sister of Margaret?) married Samuel Linebaugh in 1809. In 1811 Samuel & Nancy sold the land she had inherited from her father to Jacob Merchant and they moved to KY, where Samuel was from. Samuel died young (in 1835) and I'm trying to find out the later whereabouts of Nancy. She probably married again. Thanks.
