Need any information about Zebina MERCHANT (ca.1795-ca.1845). Was listed in a city directory for Albany, Albany County, NY in 1813, but not in 1814. Is found in Steuben County, NY on 1820 Census. Had 6 sons with wife Lorena BLACKMAN (1795-1850). First son, Luther (1814-1906) and 2nd son Zebina Jr. (1816-1902) claim to have been born in Vermont. Other 4 sons (Washington b.1822; Zimri b.1824; Chester b.1826 & Matthew b.1827) all claim to have been born in Cohocton, Steuben Co., NY. Entire family, with Lorena but NOT Zebina, moved to Allegian Co. Michigan in 1847.
