I've got a William Henry Edgar Mercer (son of Henry Mercer and Jane Earle) married to a Rebecca Sharpe (daughter of Martin Sharpe and Elisa (nee ?). They have lots of children. The names I have are Hilda, Lillian, Ursula, Wesley, Dorothy, Vera. The remaining I don't have names for though there were three more daughters and three more sons.

William Mercer was born in Shearstown, Newfoundland in 1883 and was ordained a Methodist minister at St. John’s in 1918, He served as the Methodist and United Church minister at Lewisporte from 1918 - 1925, From 1925 - 1930 he served the congregation at Botwood and from 1930 - 1934 he served at Twillingate. He was elected as a Deputy Grand Chaplain of the GOL of Newfoundland in 1921. Mercer moved to Ontario in 1936 and he authored and published "A Century of Methodism in Twillingate and Notre Dame Bay". Reverend Mercer died at Kingston, Ontario on April 7, 1947.

The source of this information comes from John Parsons (1932 - ) book "Where I First Saw the Light".

I've also a Rebekah Frances Sharpe born June 3rd 1885 Spaniard's Bay Pond (daughter of Abraham and Caroline (nee Badcock) Sharpe).

I hope this helps.
