I found the following in "History of Twiggs County, Georgia" comp. by J. Lanette O'Neal Faulk and Billy Walker Jones, p. 311:
William Garner Mercer
Sept 4 1875-Aug 24, 1943

I realize the date of birth isn't quite right, but it's very close. William's buried in the Mercer Cemetery near Myricks Mill along with his wife Lucile Sanders Mercer (1889-1958) parents John Pink Mercer (1844-1911) & Mary Eliza Mercer (1850-1890). There are other Mercers there as well including Jones Ira, Clarence, & Thomas. Do you need more info on this cemetery?
